Sandra began her professional career as a CPA in Argentina before relocating to the United States approximately 35 years ago. She continued her education and professional career in the U.S., becoming a U.S. CPA and earning a Master’s Degree in Accounting from St. Thomas University.

After leaving PwC, she continued to work with the firm as an outside consultant while expanding her international tax experience at a local CPA firm in Coral Gables. This combination provided the foundation for establishing Ciola & Associates in 2006.

Her years at PwC created lasting relationships within South Florida’s professional community, particularly with attorneys and advisors serving international and high-net-worth clients. These relationships, along with referrals from existing clients and families, became an important part of the firm’s growth.

Some families have worked with Sandra for nearly two decades, through multiple investments, businesses, transactions, and generations. When important questions arise, they have direct access to an experienced CPA who understands their history and overall financial structure.

Sandra believes excellence, responsiveness, and personal balance are complementary. Maintaining a deliberately focused client base allows her to offer meaningful attention and build a sustainable practice centered on quality.

Outside the office, Sandra is an avid distance runner who has completed the six World Marathon Majors and more than 50 half marathons. Preparation, discipline, consistency, resilience, and a long-term perspective shape both her running and her professional relationships.

Her approach is straightforward: accept the clients the firm is well positioned to serve, understand them deeply, be available when it matters, and build relationships designed to last for decades.
